Connecting People to Save Danda River

The Danda River system is stressed and it needs our attention. This 20 KM long river runs through the open fields, patches of wetlands, and urban forests, and it looks like a healthy eco-system capable of supporting and harboring variety of species of plants and wildlife. Read more


Global Health & Community Outreach

The Global Health and Community Outreach (GHCO)  group at PNMF aims to make adifference in improving the health and well-being of communities that are poor, under-served, and underprivileged.  We work with national and international collaborators  of doctors, public health practitioners, social scientists and experienced policymakers to find new and creative ways to address health challenges. Women’s Community Center, Bahunipati

A collaborative team consisting of a student group from the University of New Mexico (UNM4Nepal), Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel Hospital Kathmandu University Hospital, Pratiman-Neema Memorial Foundation (PNMF), the Department of Civil Engineering, and the Nepal Study Center of the University of New Mexico begins a construction project in Bahunipati: the Women’s Community Center Project. Women’s Health Camp: Safe and Sustainable Menstrual Hygiene Kits

The Pratiman-Neema Memorial Foundation (PNMF) in joint collaboration with Women2be, an Albuquerque based NGO, organized the two days event in Bhairahawa, Rupendehi district. The event was organized for raising awareness, delivering female hygiene kits to women and educating them on hygiene health. Read more


Immediate Relief Effort

Following the two massive earthquake shocks in April and May (2015), PNMF sent its volunteers to the nearby villages to provide some relief supplies. Read more


Danda Riverfront Restoration Project

The Danda River Restoration Program (DRRP) was carried out on the west side of the highway bridge.  It was designed to avoid adverse bank erosion on the north side of the river, and also to preserve the integrity of the future bio-park project idea currently being under consideration. Read more


Ratamata School +2 Wing Expansion

PNMF successfully wrote a grant to add a +2 science wing extension for the Ratamata High School, Pyuthan (Rs.30 million).
