The foundation oversees many activities: academics, research, and community engagement. There are two boards that provide overall guidance and policy direction —  Executive Committee and Advisory Board (to be formed). To carry out many of these activities, the Advisory Board works with the PNMF Executive Committee to provide feedback on larger policy and vision related issues. The representatives of the Executive Committee and the Advisory Board come together at least once a year to assess PNMF's various activities and initiatives related to academics, research, and community engagement, and provide policy guidance and feedback. The Executive Committee takes the responsibility of giving instructions to its officers (e.g., college principal, program coordinators) to reflect and act on those guidelines. The members of the Advisory Board are appointed by the Executive Committee for a specific term.
