Community Health Education, Awareness and Leadership Training for Women.  The training gathers community leaders for a five day, healthcare-focused workshop, preparing participants for identification and response to common injuries and illnesses, and increasing knowledge of healthy lifestyle patterns through proper nutrition, exercise and good hygiene practices.

Pratiman-Neema Memorial Foundation (PNMF) organized this training event with the support from the local sponsors (Netra JyotiSangh, Rupandehi and Mayadevi Charitable Foundation).The two professional visiting volunteers from New Mexico, USA, the primary instructors, worked with the Nepal Study Center of the University of New Mexico and the PNMF staff to design the conceptual framework of the program using the volunteers’ experience and knowledge about the similar best practices and successful implementations. The NSC team of the University of New Mexico also helped the program training team to design the impact evaluation protocols and the analytical objectives. The training was designed in two batches in order to make the training effective.
