PNMF is a founding trustee of a nonprofit college –PNMHI. Accredited by the CTEVT, the college offers associate degree in Medical Lab Technician, and is working to offer other degrees in areas such as Radiology, Pharmacy,and Assistant Lab technician, and Forestry.
The newly built PNMHI campus hopes to include several new educational initiatives in the near future: landscape ecology (bio-park learning center),sustainable technology, environmental monitoring, study abroad, and entrepreneurial certificate degree. PNMHI college is encouraged by the progress made so far and hopes to offer a broad range of educational opportunities for degree seeking students.
PNMHI Goes Green
The new building has been fitted with a 12 KW-capacity solar panels, which is expected to increase to 32 KW within the next few months. By making it off-grid and energy independent, the PNMHI is moving to becoming one of the greenest campuses in the nation.
PNMHI’s New Building Inaugurated
On June 14, 2016, citizens of rural and urban areas of Bhairahawa, local leaders, educators, and various national and international dignitaries and policy makers came together for the opening of a new vocational training campus building. The newly constructed campus building for Pratiman-Neema Memorial Vocational Training Institute was jointly inaugurated by Deepak Bohara, minister for labor and employment, and Ambassador of India to Nepal Ranjit Rae.
