Student Eco-clubs Network

This past summer (2016), PNMF launched a Save Danda campaign by establishing a Danda Ecological Monitoring Program (DEMP) and Citizen Science lab. As a part of this campaign, a scientific data collection program has also been launched –DEMP– in collaboration with the teams from the University of New Mexico, the Nepal Study Center’s (UNM) Sustainable Development Action Lab and the Bosque Ecological Monitoring (BEMP).  The Eco-club of PNMHI will work with the international team to help them with the data collection activities of this program. Starting with the water quality, this program will also be tracking air pollution and the bio-diversity of the Danda’s riparian system, and also help them with the bio-park design.
